HeyBuddy Outdoors ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights around it.

What We Collect

Waitlist information: Name, email address, zip code, kids' ages, and activity preferences you provide when joining our waitlist.
Compass quiz responses: Answers you provide in the HeyBuddy Compass quiz, used to generate your family's adventure profile.
Usage data: Basic analytics about how you interact with our site (pages visited, time on site). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

How We Use It

To send you launch updates, early access notifications, and your adventure profile (if you used the Compass).
To understand what families in Atlanta want from an outdoor gear service.
To improve our service before and after launch.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except the email service provider we use to send you updates (currently Gmail / Google Workspace).

Email Communications

By joining our waitlist, you agree to receive occasional emails from HeyBuddy Outdoors about our launch, gear updates, and founding family news. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking "Unsubscribe" in any email, or by emailing us directly.

Data Retention

We retain your waitlist information until you unsubscribe or request deletion. After launch, subscriber and member data is retained as long as your account is active.

Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Just email us.
